Professional Background & Experience
Alexis brings 18+ years of experience practicing family law and criminal defense with deep, real-world insight into both the legal system and the day-to-day realities of running a law firm. She also spent several years as an educator teaching ancient world history, U.S. government and economics.
Her work is rooted in a strong belief that the legal profession is a service-driven calling. She is passionate about helping attorneys expand access to justice while also creating practices that are financially sustainable and aligned with their values.
Working closely with over 250 Access Legal attorneys both individually and at the community level. Through one-on-one coaching, she helps attorneys refine their consultations, strengthen client relationships, and implement innovative systems that drive long-term, sustainable success. In her role as Community Director, Alexis also leads the development of the Access Legal community experience through virtual and in-person events - designed to foster connection, collaboration, and continued professional growth across the network.
Based in the Pacific Northwest, she enjoys spending all her free time with her wife and their four dogs. Outside of work, you can find her reading, watching Bravo, traveling to new places, skiing, or paddleboarding.
